TUTORIAL and My Look: Smokey Black and Silver Eyes

Hello, Beautiful!:) I got a text last night from my friend. She asked me to do a Smokey Eyes tutorial, I was planning on posting it next week but I'm in the mood today to play with my make-up and I'm going out with friends. Now, is perfect for a smokey eye look!:) I'm gonna do a Smokey Eyes tutorial series here using different colors so you can do different styles.:)

First step, I primed my eyes and used a black base to make the black shadow more intense..

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Black Bean

I used ELF primer (the one that looks like a concealer stick) (You can totally skip the primer and shadow base step. I just used it so the colors will appear intense in the photos..)

Second step, I picked a silver shadow and put it in the inner third of my eye.

Third step, I used the darker, sort of grayish shadow and dabbed it on the middle of my lid..

Fourth step, Blend the two colors together so you won't see a line between each color.:)

Fifth step, then I picked a black shadow, placed it on the outer V of my eye..

Repeat step 4.

Sixth step, used the black shadow and brushed it on my lower lash line..

Seventh step, I used a blending brush with a shadow that's darker than my skin tone and brushed it on my crease in a windshield wiper motion. You'll achieve a more defined crease at the same time you're blending your shadow.

Eight step, I picked a shimmery white eyeshadow and dabbed it on my tearducts.

Ninth Step, I lined my water line, tight line and upper lash line with a black eyeliner pencil.

Tenth step, MASCARA!:) two coats is perfect!:) didn't took a picture of it coz to most people, seeing someone curling their lashes and putting mascara looks scary...:)))

THAT's ALL FOR THE EYES!:) 10 steps!

I just put a grey shadow on my brows and foundation. I also concealed my red spots and under eye circles coz as you can see I don't have a perfect skin!:)

For my cheeks, I used a pink blush on the apples of my cheeks..

I used the lighter pink blush. The one on the right side

For the lips, I used a pale shimmery pink color

My Look: Red Lips

Hello, Beautiful!:) I wore this look last week when I picked up my kid in her school.:) very simple yet sexy...:)

here's the look:

I used an eyeshadow similar to my skintone, then chose a grey eyeshadow for the crease. then black eyeliner!:) that's it for the eyes.:) on my cheeks, I picked a pink blush and a matte bronzer for contouring and a highlighter for my cheekbones. on the lips, I lined my lips with a neutral lipliner, then used a bright red lipstick.:)

Easy right?:)

What I Wore: Aug. 18, 2011 dinner with friends (TacOps)

Hi Beautiful!:) This is what I wore last night when I went to my friends house.. It's simple, comfy and cute!:)

here's my photo..:)

it's a red and white striped-dress with eyelet skirt that I bought in my sister's online shop.:) then I paired it with my gladiator white heels and some accessories from Forever21.:) my makeup that night was brown smokey eyes with pale lips sort of similar to Aria from Pretty Little Liars. I'll post a tutorial about my makeup.:)

June-July Favorites

These are the products that I always always use or have (or eat!:) ) since June.. So, yeah! they're my favorites at the moment.:)

My 1st fave: BRIGHT LIPSTICKS

L-R: L'Oreal Infallible Lipstick in Ravishing Red, Covergirl in Spellbound, Victoria's Secret in Adored and Victoria's Secret in Be Mine

This June and July I'm really loving bright lipsticks.. Before I always use nude lipstick then I thought, my skin is pale already then pale lipstick? I look like a ghost!:)) I first tried VS Be Mine and I loved it! It glides smoothly and covers evenly plus it doesn't smudge and it lasts a long time. For a person like me, who hates re-touching my lipstick or my makeup, that's a good product!!:) the other lipsticks gave the same results although the Infallible Lipstick from L'Oreal makes your lips feel dry not like the other 3, they're creamy... My solution was, I put good amount of lip balm before I use the Infallible Lipstick then add a gloss.:)

2nd fave: GLOSSES

DKNY Lip Gloss in Delicious Night and Bebe Lip Gloss (the name and color faded)

 For quite sometime now, these two babies are my fave lip gloss..:) they're not sticky and the colors are nice! DKNY Delicious Night's color is intimidating but when you put it in your lips, it gives this transparent-ish wine red color. The smell is almost like a perfume so that's the down side. It's like you sprayed perfume on your face, you can taste it! But after awhile, when you're used to it, it isn't really bothering you anymore. The Bebe tastes good..:) and it's perfect color if you want a glossy, nude pink. It gives the right amount of pink on your lips plus it makes your lips look juicy!:)

3rd Fave: BRIGHT EYE SHADOWS

These eye shadows give nice color pay off, what you see in the compact is what you will see in your eyes. Perfect for Smokey Eyes look with a pop of color or when you just want to wear colorful and bright eyes!:)

4th fave: FOODIES

Kool-Aid Fun Fizz, Lemon Square's Choo Choo Choco Pies and Cream-O Cakewich

My daughter, Summer and I LURVEEE these!! Eating these is our bonding time.:) The Fun Fizz is just so fun to watch! When you pop a tablet in your glass of water, the "fizzing" is super exciting plus it's YUMMY!:) the two choco sandwiches are DELICIOUS!!! It's CHOCOLATE!:) need I say more??:)

I'm trying so hard to lose weight..:) what do you think? Do I look better with long or short hair? should I lose weight or my weight now is okay?? BTW I'm 21yrs old, my height is 5'4", weight is 120lbs..
